Bedtime check list

1. Bath.
2. Hair washed.
3. Favourite pyjamas on.
4. Teeth brushed.
5. Pretty dress selected and worn over the top of pyjamas.
6. Accessories selected to enhance outfit.
7. A lot of oooing at pretty ballerina dancing.
8. A lot of twirling around the room like pretty ballerina.
9. Current favourite bedtime story read about a dragon that was too hot to hug.
10. Refusal to take off pretty dress.
11. Refusal to get into bed until six more books are read.
12. Refusal to lie down until water has been drunk.
13. Refusal to lie down until the correct 'Cars' image has been selected for projection onto ceiling.
14. Refusal to lie down until Dora The Explorer theme song has been sung twice.
15. Refusal to lie down until more water has been drunk.
16. Refusal to lie down until Mummy has given lots of cuddles.
17. Get out of bed to give sister another cuddle.
18. Refusal to lie down until all cuddly toys have been thrown off the bed.
19. Refusal to lie down until cuddly toys have been replaced on bed.
20. Refusal to lie down until 'sticky' nose has been wiped with tissue.
21. One more Mummy cuddle.

This is a very typical bed time routine for Dexter at the moment. I will perserve just so that I can blip him in dresses to show his mates when he's older!
