Armirichi

Spent the afternoon at this beach with two friends and had a late lunch/early dinner at the taverna there .
It's lovely but not quite as idyllic as my photo makes it seem. Years ago it used to be almost deserted but then they surfaced the road to it, brought electricity and, far worse, it was used as a setting for a popular beer advert on TV. Since then it's become a favourite 'wild camping' venue' for young Athenians. It's really quite small, but by the time we left at about 8pm we counted 30 tents and more being erected.. A place to avoid at weekends definitely.
