On the High Road

What a spectacular day it has been at the Snow Farm.  We drove along the Cardrona Valley, which still had the hoar frost clinging to the trees.  -4C.  Then we drove up the road to the Snow Farm, where it was +3C.  Soon warmed up to +6C.  We got quite hot in the snow and sun.  My companions today were The Tuner and Piano Lady.  We had our lunch at Musterers Flat, then the long walk back to the base building.  No snow chains required today, which was great.  The extras missed the cut.

All in all a perfect day in the mountains.  I walked just over 11K steps, which is quite far enough.  Home now, have just enjoyed a hot chocolate sitting in front of the fire.  It's +1C at the moment!

P.S.  The hoar frost from yesterday is gone!
