Gordale Scar

After a peaceful night's sleep (so quiet in the country!), had breakfast and then drove a short distance to walk to the Janet's Foss waterfall (see extra), then up to Gordale Scar. Watched as a couple of men climbed up a stretch of the waterfall (it was tempting to wait until they moved out of shot, but I included them for scale).

We then drove to Skipton and had a wander around the town before continuing on to Harrogate and booking into our hotel. We strolled around this town too, sussing out a place to eat. I had a quick run (a bit drizzly, but nice to run somewhere different), and then we went out for dinner, walking past the West Stray - home to some scarecrows (see extras - a blipper I follow, DigitalDave, had included a montage of scarecrows as one of his recent blips).
