On my route

Did my usual clockwise run round the north Greenwich peninsula this morning. This statue is "Liberty Grip" by Gary Hume: "an abstract human form, cast in bronze".

I am guessing the drilling rig in the river in the background is investigating the underlying ground conditions for the proposed Silvertown Tunnel. Not sure if it was the one that was positioned near the Thames Barrier in late June.
