Stripes....

Yet another dull, grey day with occasional drizzle. But not as cold as yesterday. Not a good day for landscape photography.... the light was very “flat”. But I came across this variegated flax, probably a hybrid of our native flaxes. So I suppose that even when the light is flat there will be something to photograph. It is merely a matter of “seeing” beauty in the mundane.
We feel very sorry for the folks and properties caught up in horrible weather in the far north of the North Island today. May the weather quickly improve.
