Switzerland in July

This small selection from my Swiss collection is enough to bring back wonderful memories of Swiss mountain holidays in years gone by.
The joy of early mornings in Saas Fee with the mist swirling up from the valley and the blue sky breaking through. Of being able to climb above the alpine meadows and the tree line. To find slopes carpeted with alpine flowers and to enjoy hours identifying and photographing them. Each day finding something never seen before.
Is it surprising that back home we tried to grow some of them and visited alpine flower shows.
And even collected these postage stamps.
As you get older these memories become more treasured.
