Gates

The workshop at Stanley Ferry produces new lock gates for the Waterways.

This pile of gates is awaiting delivery to Dowley Gap [a two rise staircase on the Bingley Saltaire stretch] and Dobson at Apperley Bridge.

One day I hope to be allowed in to photograph the process of turning trees into these monsters.
