This refers to the dangling fat loaded bird food purchased on a whim from a recent trip to Waitrose. I am hoping that this offering is more obvious than the previous attempts to attract the wood pecker, or any bird, have been. The positioning of suet pellets on the balcony ledge was clearly too subtle for them. I will give this a month.
Thanks to Magnus for attaching it to a hitherto unseen hook in the wood. I just hope it doesn’t descend shattering into I’s garden in a gale.
