Thistle

Another hot, mainly sunny day.

Up and out for a walk at 6, only saw one other person in the 1 1/2 hours I was out!  Collected the paper and delivered to my friend.  In supermarket by 8 (first visit!) and filled up with petrol, home with the shopping by 8.30, so quiet! Collected the frozen food from my friend, had a coffee and made some phone calls.

This afternoon S came round and we went for a walk at Wallasea RSPB site which is by the river Crouch, nice to get a breeze.  Will go again but at a better time for photos. 

I've put a photo in extra of the bud I took yesterday as some of you didn't know this flower, it comes in quite a few colours, most of them bright
