Ready For The Chop

Three slightly wrinkly red peppers - now roasted and reduced.

And that was the high spot of the day?  Not quite, but in truth, it has been another quiet day. 

Had a nice long chat to friend M this morning. And an exchange of messages with Ali, as we sorted out how to make it safe for them to come and see us in August. That's something to look forward to. We've ordered a gazebo, so we can spend lots of time outdoors with them. 

After that there was no escaping another session with the weeds. A glass or two of chilled white and some ice cream as a reward this evening. 

I'm very behind with reading journals and commenting. So I'll turn off comments till I manage to catch up a bit. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
