What a lovely day today
Started with a revelation.... Did I mention the poo in the garden? There was a big poo, slap bang in the middle of the garden last week and this week. If you have cats; you'll know this isn't something they are prone to.
We brought the camera home from the plot and set it up on Wednesday - Wednesday Night Hedgehog; Thursday night Hedgehog. Friday night.... FOXY. Oh No!! How did it get in , our garden is completely enclosed.
One of our neighbours say that they have had poo parcels for months now. We are hoping that letting Rufus pee in the garden will deter themm
Si had to work first thing - something about shutting down a server when no one was on line. And shifting all the data.
We left him to it; made a menu for the week, and prepared to go shopping. He finished more quickly than he thought and he volunteered. Tooli happily stepped down, but I went with him
The town was almost regular; apart from the masks. There were probably around 98% wearing.
Home; lunch; and then we went to harvest at the allotment.
Raspberries, Strawberries, gooseberries, peas, carrots, cabbage, courgettes.
Si Forked the Onions, to bring them to the surface -these are the best onions we have grown so far.
When we got home; we plaited the garlic and hung it up! Best garlic yet!
We shelled the peas and froze them - excited that that was less than 25% of what we planted - almost 900g of peas in the first cull - and Tooli ate several of them,,, probably enough to turn her wee green :-)
Me . ... i was just happy that the sun shone today.
I've missed the sun. It's been rainy and cloudy since last friday. It was such a joy to be in short sleeves and outside today.
