Lunch meet

After a very good OaSis Zoom meeting this morning, we met up with friends Gladson and Susan for lunch at Carter's. Susan had a lockdown birthday in April, so got a complimentary bottle of wine. :))

We hadn't seen each other since early March, so there was loads of catch up on. Five hours passed effortlessly. My blip is of the entrance of Carter's pub and the first extra is my view from the table we had today. The second extra is of one of four fully laden dhows that we watched sail out this evening. We hadn't been to the Dhow Wharfage for ages, so drove past there before finally getting home, around 7 pm.

Today's new movie was Miracle Star - set in Ireland at Christmas time. (No idea why they are airing it in the middle of summer). The story was interesting enough but the acting and sequencing wasn't very good.

Another weekend over. It went in a jiffy. Oh, I cleaned the filters of the bedroom a/c units this morning. They were well overdue. First time ever I've done it as our cleaner does it for us as part of his routine. I'm missing him. I hope he's back soon, though I can't see it happening in the near future.
