It has taken three years for this miniature lily to flower. It’s like a little rosebud and lives in my little pond. I nearly lost it because when I partly cleared out the pond earlier in the year, I thought I had lost it and put it in a bag. When my husband was sorting the green waste for recycling, he noticed the pot had some shoots so I put it back in the pond. It obviously enjoyed it’s spell out of the water.
We went for a late afternoon walk along the sea front. It was very busy still but the sea was rough and didn’t look very inviting.
