Rural Kent...

We headed out into Kent today, real Kent. We live in Kent but it’s really Greater London, and although countryside is very nearby, today took us to some beautiful villages and wonderful scenery. We began with Goudhurst, lunched in Benenden and stopped briefly In Tenterden. Oast houses almost in abundance and several windmills. I love these old structures and the stories they tell of the different areas.

Home again by early evening, and to our books in the conservatory. A lovely day and beautiful sunshine. The new car is proving a good drive.
