Busy Day

Our oldest son was best man in his friend’s wedding today. His wife stayed with us. It was strange not having Fire Ant and Chunky Monkey with us but it was nice having Jess to ourselves. Her mom kept the kids so we could also attend the wedding. We spent most of yesterday talking and playing Rumikub like the pre kid days. This morning, Hubs pulled corn and she and I put it up ( froze it.) . She also took home tomatoes, zucchini , okra, green beans and yellow squash in addition to a lot of corn.
This afternoon we attended the very small wedding. We don’t like social settings these days but the groom is one of ours and lived in my parents house a few years.
