I couldn't find another broken flight of steps but I did find a broken lock gate.
This gate was last used in the 1970s when Kirkcaldy harbour was a working harbour.
Since the harbour was reopened last year for grain deliveries, there has been no attempt to retain the harbour water during low tide. Cargo boats are expected to sit it out on their bottoms.
This image shows the barnacle encrusted gate with a rusted walkway and mechanism above it. If it ever moves again, it will be to a scrapyard.
