Time to look up

I popped into my local parish church yard on a bit of an investigative mission this afternoon, camera in hand, looking for good cross-shapes to snap for something I'm putting together for church. That part of the mission was unsuccessful, but the church spire and clock looked nice against the blue sky so all things blipwise were satisfied :)

The calm of the picture gives no indication of the icy, gusty blasts which were attacking from all sides ... there may be a metaphor somewhere in there at the moment ;-) Hopefully more clarity by close of play tomorrow!
