Mount Pond: Artatidae

Mum and I went to Mount Pond first thing to see the Cayuga. We did see it (!), but it didn't get off its snoozy island, so I didn't get any Cayuga shots. It was drizzling when we arrived, and the rain became more and more persistent, but I got some damp droplet shots, and liked this pair of mallards (with him in eclipse plumage). I had a play with my favourite damp ducks shot in Studio Artist 5.0 (starting with presets, and getting more and more adventurous), and couldn't decide which result I preferred, so I took 10 interpretations into Photoshop, layered them, then revealed patches of each to yield this mixed up result.
