Gruesome?

NO!  Grew some!!  Whereby trails a yarn.  In days of yore Jerra had reached adult height therefore we were both of a height; Yankee penpal visited one year, took a look at us, then him, then announced:-
"My, he certainly grew some."
Which, of course elicited the inevitable response:-
"Who are you calling gruesome?"
IF A. N. Other has kept accurate score (I haven't bothered) this will be about 120 days since these two patches, which are not moustaches and are normally kept back to skin, were both clipped - SO - that's 120 days growth.

Just for my record.  Mark's dad arrived with a brace of mechanics, a HUGE battery on a trolley and a 4 lb hammer. Whereby hangs another tale, the punchline of which is:-
"Nay son, it's not a 41 B  hammer; it's a 4 lb hammer."  Henceforth on all inventory checks it was called as a "41 B hammer".
 
The only item used/needed was the said 41 B to administer sundry smart smacks to the starter/solenoid; whereupon it decided to start and was drivable "home".
