Horse Drawn Fire Appliance

This morning I was at the HQ of Lothian & Borders Fire Service and there's a Fire Museum in the same building. It's well worth a visit. The appliance pictured is the oldest in their collection dating (rather obviously) from 1824. Note the leather buckets at the front!

The Museum is well worth a visit!
