Cley-next-the-Sea
After a morning finishing off the face masks for everyone, and a bit of cleaning in the conservatory we had lunch, then Henry, Jon and I drove to Cley. It is just 15 minutes up the road. Jon and Henry like bird watching but the hides are not open yet. So we walked along the track and down to the sea. A few people were sea fishing, and others just enjoying the late evening sun.
We took a few photos, but there weren't very many birds. There is, however, this gun turret. An unusual thing to find at a local beauty spot, but its proximity to the sea, must mean it was there just in case there were attacks from the beach. Thankfully, I assume this was never needed.
Back home at 5.20 and put the chicken in to roast. Daniel came over to have dinner with us, and we had our first meal at our dining room table for 4 months. It is so nice to have home back. Tomorrow i will have a walk to work (albeit just across the lawn to the new 'office')
Tomorrow after work i plan to finish all sewing projects and put my machine away. Need to get things tidied up before we go away.
