Common Green Grasshopper

The biomechanics involved in these creatures are amazing - normally they don't hang around as I hunker down to get some shots, but today (as we fruitlessly searched for some mushrooms) I had a number that seemed all too willing to pose.

Those chevron-legs just don't seem plausible enough to be real.
