flying ant day?? what a fascinating world
I love how dew on grass or rain on a roof transforms to steam as the day gets hotter.
When I was in Vietnam I thought the beautiful diffuse light was the result of pollution. Many humid days here I see a similar, albeit not equivalent, quality in the light here, so I think maybe it was also humidity.
Butterflies go through exceptional changes and so do frogs. Can you imagine being a tadpole, restricted only to water, and then growing legs and having a whole new world open to you? Being able to walk and jump in mud and dirt, leap from cliffs, and still zoom through water?
Many are envisioning positive changes that the pandemic could lead to, should we choose.
I just read that during the tuberculosis epidemic two American female doctors learned from Germany and began outdoor schools and schools with floor to ceiling windows on all four sides. The air circulation was sufficient to protect the children. They did this through winter. We'd have to give up high school science labs. Do you think as a one year measure this could work? https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/17/nyregion/coronavirus-nyc-schools-reopening-outdoors.html
This is the card I will be sending to my friend who is recovering from strokes. I took the picture with a neighbor's flowers in the background. All my neighbors see me with the camera everywhere and sometimes they pose for me.
Today I took a picture of a neighbor boy. He was holding a little stick that looked like a wand so for one of the pictures I sent his mother I had light rays come out of it.
