At Lake Hawea

Today the Walking group parked at Scott's Beach at Lake Hawea, and walked from there towards John Creek.  It was drizzling, but not too cold, +7C.  The first extra stopped us in our tracks, as none of us wanted to get our feet wet!  Just over 12 K steps, or 8 k's all up.  We had our lunch in the rain, and were pleased to get back to the cars where we were able to take our wet gear off.  We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe, before heading for home.  I have the fire going, with my wet weather hanging out to dry.

I have just had a nice hot chocolate, so I am now dry and warm.
