Lake Hawea

... in the rain!  Only eight of us walked today.  It just started to spit as we met at the lakefront.  We optimistically drove to Hawea and walked along the cliff tops towards John Creek.  It was still just spitting.  Then we arrived at a creek that had a lot of water in it (sometimes it is completely dry).  We didn’t fancy getting wet feet and turned back.  Then it started to rain in earnest.  A warm, dry coffee shop was looking good!
