Pride

Watched our pre-recorded church service in the morning, did a bit of computer stuff afterwards and then set to work in the garden. Much snipping, shearing, cutting and pulling later, I called it a day. After a shower and change I gave up on any foolish thoughts of going for a walk and settled down to my regular Sunday phone call with my cousin followed by dinner and a glass of wine. I felt I'd earned it.

Amazing what an incentive a council brown bin collection day can be!

Not quite an Emergency Blip, but I thought this wee flower in my neighbour's garden would do as I went in to use their brown bin (with permission!) as my overflow. My app identifies it as a Pride of Rochester shrub.
