Farne Island Puffin

I have wanted to do a Farne Island boat trip for a long time. I wasn't sure how we'd feel about it, in the current climate but we have watched a few leave the harbour since Friday. They are running at about half capacity, to allow for social distancing and because it's public transport, everyone has to wear a mask. The weather is perfect this week too, almost no wind and it's dry. Not very often you can say that on the North East coast.
So we went for it and it was well worth it.
Hundreds of puffins, which I've only ever seen a handful of before (on Orkney 5 years ago). Plenty of guillemots, shags, razorbills, kittiwakes and terns too. Plus lots of seals and their pups, which B loved.
