Star and Garter - Richmond

The photo shows in the background the Star and Garter Home at the top of Richmond Hill, now converted into luxury apartments. In the foreground is a very colourful planting in a bed put there by the Richmond Branch of the RSPC. Very difficult to take a photo without ugly road furniture or road signs. See extra blips too.
A lovely sunny morning as I cycled round Richmond Park where all the roads are now open to cyclists Monday to Friday. Cars are also now allowed into the car parks from the nearest gate but can not use it as a cut through like previously. It will be closed to all cyclists and cars at weekends for the foreseeable future.
Lots of deer with young, some ‘ paddling’ in a pond and seemed to be eating water lilies?!

- at the allotment picked the first runner beans, lots of green beans and courgettes. Also some marigolds which have grown well without any attention
- Did lots of household chores, cleaning etc.
