Magical Moorland
I don't usually cross to the other side of the valley on a pre work run but I fancied a change from Northcliffe loops today.
I ran down through the village where firemen were dealing with the aftermath of a bad house fire, thankfully no one was harmed.
The moors were beautiful in the morning light with the Heather just being to flower. A quick turn around, then back to the village to catch the train to Leeds.
I made the mistake of walking through Millennium Square and encountering the aftermath of Leeds fan's celebration of their promotion last night. A mass of plastic bags and beer cans & bottles, very sticky paving stones and a smell of beer. Grim!! Thankfully by the time I left work 12 hours later it had been cleaned up
