Dramatic exit

To save a bit of money, we had arranged for me to get a lift across the water to catch my plane this morning. Unfortunately Kate had forgotten about the plans and had left without me. Up stepped Julian to whizz me across in his little aluminium boat equipped with outboard motor.... a little faster than recommended. Managed to hang on to phone and luggage. Got dropped off at Barnacle Rd, caught a cab and made it to the airport in time for my flight back to Calgary.
