Neowise
Comet “Neowise” is difficult to see, even after using “NightSky” app on phone to show where it is.
Apparently this isn’t a “great” comet because you can’t see the tail with the naked eye.
Once you’ve found it using binoculars, the tail is quite clear.
This was just before midnight, quite dark with just a little haze.
Of course, photographing something you can’t see with the naked eye, let alone through the viewfinder is another challenge.
(note the 30 second exposure has lengthened the stars as they move noticeably across the sky)
