Sweet Fennel

I spent some of the morning proof reading a document that came into my inbox just after 0600 hours this morning; it was required by this evening! Others had found some mistakes, but there were still more for me to find, very satisfying.
 
During the afternoon I caught up with one of the MasterChef episodes and some reading.
 
Today’s picture is of some Sweet Fennel; this is growing in the path, not in the herb border!

The temperature was twenty degrees Celsius at GMT noon.
