Fly?

This morning on my walk the watermill was open and they were putting in security lights and I was allowed into the first part and was shown the damage done by a previous fire, hope to get some pictures at some point.
Spent the rest of the morning on the garden.
Sanded up the organ pipes then spent the rest of the afternoon on admin. 
No blip done so I went out with the macro lens, thought there would be some butterflies on the buddleia but there wasn't any. i did find this big fly not sure what it is but haven't seen one like it before.
