Badger

I was at work for the overnighter.

Last thing I did was check all the doors, windows, etc and then just stood outside the front door to look down the street and see if I could spot either of the fox cubs that have been knocking around. A rustle in the hedge - could it be? Out pops a badger and wanders around a bit before going into next door's. Not sure I've ever seen one that's not been dead on the road before - I was quite giddy. And then another rustle....one of the cubs appeared! It was like wildlife bingo right there, in full effect. I went to bed quite happy. Also quite knackered.
