Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

One hundred and thirty eight days later ...

Went to the pub today. First time in nearly five months. The place we went to in Guildford has carved their garden up into rather lovely discrete booths, plenty of sanitising stuff, and you had to register at the gate for contact tracing purposes. I had two pints of beer, the sun was shining and we were happy. Felt like being on holiday.

Oh wait - we are on holiday.

Did a bit of shopping too. Everywhere was very well organised and staff were chatty, and probably desperately glad of the company because it was generally quiet.

My new drugs arrived today. Hope they work. I have to pill split which I don’t like.

The Dizzle and Mystic Em returned from wild camping in the Lake District and were very happy. They had a great time by all accounts and left no rubbish and lit no fires. The dog was in her element and they had lots of beautiful pictures.

We tarted up the patio and made it habitable again. This involved moving the very heavy vegetable trough which nearly ended in disaster until I did some emergency repairs and TSM fixed a bruised toe.

Good day. Again. Always enjoy it when we are off together.
