Excellent day out

Managed to book a timed entry to Croft Castle for today, thought we would be there a couple of hours and then onto Offa’s Dyke but spent all day there. Actual castle wasn’t open but the walled garden and parkland was fabulous. There was a notice at the entrance to the walled garden apologising for the less than perfect state as there is 8 acres and only two gardeners working there for the last three month. Hubby suggested a similar sign for our garden as it is a fraction of this and no where near as perfect. It is a wonderful walled garden and they should be very proud of there work
After lunch in the camper it was up the hill and a three mile walk. As we did two miles and the wall garden before lunch Hetty has slept all evening. The views were fabulous.
As last night was the first time we have been in the camper since November Hetty seems to have forgot that she sleeps in her bed under the table and we climb the ladder to the bed at the back. She wouldn’t settle and then slept under the ladder until around 2am when she wanted to go out. When I got up this morning she was not to be seen, she was sound asleep on the passenger seat.
