Teasels

I have often seen these spiky flowers on Christmas decorations after they have been dried. It is fascinating to see them growing - I had no idea they were actually purple flowers and have not noticed them before growing on the wayside. I will try to return and collect the seedheads for our Christmas decorations this year!
