Borgarfjörður eystri

One of the more out of the beaten track places in the country. It is the first time I made it there. We were not disappointed, there is this amazing puffin island with a viewing platform and a hide and so many of them in one spot!
The town is also very charming and the views of the mountains are spectacular.
