A walk before (Mr B’s) tennis

A few calls to make in the morning. Lunch. By the time I was ready, we had just over an hour to spare before Mr B’s tennis at 4:30.

We went to a neighbourhood park we’d never been to, just 10 minutes drive from home . We passed it recently, and noticed the tennis courts. Hard courts, so no good for Mr B’s knees, and anyway he’s very happy at our club. It has indoor courts and he can get a good game (and a drink).

We strolled round. Great park for nearby families. Children’s playground, cycle and running track, cricket, bowls, parkland and a café. My blip, a collage of 3 photos, is of 3 tiny kids cycling on the track.

Had coffee at the club while Mr B played. Beautiful day. Too hot in the sun. Would normally sit inside in the shade, but sadly not currently allowed. They kindly lowered the awning over the outside tables.
