The end of an era

That's it. He has left school.

This young man is nothing short of remarkable. He struggles with every aspect of life but has a stoic determination to succeed and every tiny achievement is celebrated.

We got up really early and went to the park at 8am. He's an adult but still needs swings and slides. Totally understandable in special needs world.... but not all toddler parents understand that. So we went early and had the park to ourselves.

He decided to climb the rocks. It's not high but he has never tried it. His legs were shaking but he did it.

I knew he could. Onwards and upwards.
