"Not Frightened Of A Thing"
....Our little grand-daughter 6, Teigan, was intrigued by the display of snakes and other creatures and when asked if she would like to hold the harmless snake - "Oh, please can I?" She didn't hesitate.
.
And so here she is, and you can see - she's not frightened of holding the Snake.
She knows the difference between the harmless snakes and the poisonous snakes, as most small children in Australia are educated to know the dangers of snakes and other creatures and do realize some can be dangerous.. but she hadn't seen one of these for a while...and was so excited..you can see that in her sweet face here..
(Like her Nanna, she's not frightened of a thing!! We were brought up with them on the farm, like many kids.)
And quite unlike her big brother nearly 11, who held Snake with a most apprehensive look on his face - but he still held it...as little sister did...Brave Lad.
Now, if it had have been a Basketball - well that would be different, (he's a very talented lad, practices every waking hour if possible). Snakes are not his thing...
