Mixed day

Started off wet but when the sun bullied its way in mid-morning it was gloriously spring-like.  Then the rain came - not much.......just enough to wet the washing I had hanging out.

Received some very sad news today about an ex-colleague who passed away overnight. I understand she hadn't been unwell and it was an unexpected medical event that took her.  Her husband and family will be in deep shock today - my heart goes out to them.  And with this sad event, I'm reminded once again that we should all live our best lives today as we may not have as many tomorrows as we think.  Rest peacefully Jenny.

On a more positive note, there were no new COVID cases today and no recoveries so our active cases remains at 27.
