The fawn...

has been placed here by its mother while she is feeding on the bank above. I saw her first although she was being very stealthy. Lots of activity today downstream, Dippers, Grey Wagtails, and Heron and in the woods, feeding on the Blaeberries, Bullfinches, Chaffinches, a variety of Tits, Blackbirds, Thrushes and the Wood Pigeons. Hopefully, the Capercaillie are enjoying a feast this year too.
There are still plenty of flowers about and the Field Gentians (extra)are just appearing.
