Pronounced le-tee-ya Very popular here in the southwest US.
one of a number of sticks or small branches, usually of stripped pine, cedar or aspen, laid across the main beams to form a ceiling, a gate, or a wall. Also called coyote fencing.
Coyote fencing consists of Spruce-Fir latillas tied to an all steel welded framework.
This gate is on the east side of our house and leads to the back yard where our bicycles are kept and our belvedere serves as our patio.
