Black Redstart

We have a Black Redstart’s nest in the eaves of our chalet. I’ve been watching the babies pop there heads over the edge of the next but haven’t managed a good photo. I thought that the babies were close to leaving the nest as they looked very big. I took this photo this morning of the female (?) feeding them before I went out. (Another photo in the extras)When I came back they had all flown the nest.

Personal goal achieved today when I decided to try to keep my cycle fitness from our holiday and I cycled up the Col de La Croix.
