Bumblebees and lavender

The perfect summer combination. The lavender was alive with bees today. Great to see. A chilled day until we headed out on our evening dog walk and met a friend walking with his two pups. He let them off the lead to play with Koj just as there was a big clap of thunder. One of his pups bolted and we have just spent four hours searching for her. Happily a good ending, and she’s safe back home. Great to see the whole community out searching for her this evening. Just how life should be.
