Chilling

The weather wasn’t too good today so we had a drive up to one of our favourite places, Lanercost Priory. The cafe is now open with clear instructions for visitors but unfortunately they seemed too difficult for some!

Highlight of the day (apart from the coffee and cake) was an impromptu coffee shop visit from a John Cleese lookalike.

After our coffee we had a walk along the banks of the River Irthing which we had never seen as low. The rain arrived so we headed back to the caravan to chill out.
