Dark Green Fritillary Butterfly

Not one we often see, spotted in somewhere I have not been since 2018 and even longer for my sister, Ladybower Reservoir. 

We were able to cross the Pennines for a while as Mum is in hospital.

We had hoped to spy the local Bearded Vulture but no luck... as they say “you should have been here an hour ago ... it flew over there”

We drove home via Hope and Castleton passing all the Peak District holiday makers. At a glance it looked like any other year.
