Both Students went out today, leaving the two of us home alone. Whoop.

After a Date Nite trip to Costco (surprisingly expensive but relatively painless) to stock up on essential wine and tinned tomatoes we decided to go out to eat.

Oh, the spontaneity.

(OK, we had to phone ahead but it's a 20 minute walk and we phoned 30 minutes before we wanted a table so pretty much as good as it gets these days).

In other news we're about three clicks away from booking a summer holiday too. Just waiting for S1 to decide if she wants a free break with us or if she wants to stay at home and cat sit.

I bet I know the answer.
